Novazul1 - I don't think it's fedex fault not in this case. This case has nothing with your r2r feedback....
I know that you were just trying to ask the question regard to fedex, however you did made a few comments via email regard to leaving me negative feedback and will get me back on other forums.
I just wanted to point out a few details regard to this order.
-You placed the order with us on 11/15
-We shipped out on 11/15
-We send you tracking number on 11/15
-Fedex came to your house on 11/19, no one home, they left a note
-Fedex came to your house again on 11/22, no one home, they left another note
-Fedex came to your house again on 11/23, no one home, they left another note
-Fedex mailed you a letter on 11/25 regard to package and instruction, you didn't even reply " Notice sent to recipient with no response - Unable to deliver shipment - Returning to shipper "
-Fedex returned the package to us on 12/10, we got the package today 12/16.
-You didn't get the package for a month, you didnt even contact fedex with all that notices, you didn't even call or email me regard to this.
The original package the shipping is FREE to you. Now fedex is charging us to have the package sent back. We ended up paying double for the shipping cost.
You asked us to resend the package, we have no problem doing that, however we need to charge you a shipping charge, because we can't pay 3 times to have this order ship out.
So I think it's fair to charge you a fee of $30 to have it resend or if you decided to cancel, because it's stated on our policy that customer is responsible for all shipping cost plus an additional 15 percent restocking fee. We didn't charge you for the restock.
So I don't know how this is fedex fault, I don't know how it's my fault where I have to eat up double charges for shipping.
I also wanted to add that I am honestly tire of hearing threats regard to using online forums as a way to "hold store ransom." or "If I don't get my way, I will give you bad feedback, bad rating and get you back on the forums."
For business, we can consider it as a lost and eat up both shipping cost, however because of the principle behind it, what is fair is fair. We open for negative and positive feedback.
As stated in the email, we would find a way to make it up to you down the road.
For almost 15 years running in this business and for the last 3 years with fedex, we haven't had any issue with fedex beside a few items broken and 1 lost package, which fedex paid for. We also used USPS, but for us, they have more issue than fedex.
For the readers out there, let us know what you think.
