you said it’s been in copper for 30 days, has it been out of copper and in unmedicated water for observation yet? Personally no livestock goes in my tank without 30 days observation in unmedicated water especially after copper treatments. Just my opinion tho.

I’d put it in the display as long as your confident in your copper levels throughout treatment. I’m not quite as cautious as some with QT though. I do 30 days copper and then straight to the display with everything unless I see issues. I also do a final FW dip just as a last check for flukes during acclimation for the display. Never had an issue until I skipped QT on a mandarin that introduced ich/velvet to the display within a week of being added.

Then no it need to slowly be brought back to treated water and the stay in untreated water for 30 days observation.

@HotRocks you want to weight in with your professional opinion here oh copper god! Lol. I don’t agree with transferring from copper right to DT as I think it’s to risky.

I would not transfer directly from copper. Minimum of 7-10 days of observation prior to moving to a DT.

14 days is ideal.
