Hey everyone,

As a weight saving measure (sibce I live in a mobile home,) I'm contemplating using some of this stuff in a future upgrade build:

I know that this stuff can be safely used in other forms of vivaria and if I end up using it I was planning on carving it with my dremel, then coating it in silicon/aragonite/oolite sand to make it blend with my existing reef rock (this foam board would be used in an upgrade tank.)

Plan B is making more reef rock out of Quikrete, salt and aragonite or oolite sand.

What do you think?

Stupid question, wont it float?

Not sure but just want to mention a mobile home floor may very well be as strong or stronger than a stick built house because of the steel beams with steel out riggers but I'm not a expert but have been under a few mobile homes.
I believe he wants to make rocks, for inside the tank, out of them...(?)

That's good to know! I appreciate that, I didn't know that, I was basically just figuring that if a mobile home floor can hold multiple fully grown male humans at once in one spot (assuming they weigh around 200 lbs each,) plus heavy appliances like fridges it can probably hold a 600+ lb aquarium!
