Hi Reefers,
I recently start dose Brightwell coralamino to my tank. My tank is waterbox cube 20. The water column is 18g. Base on the description "Does 20 drop per 50g", I dosed 7 drops to my tank daily. On the second day AM, I lost my clown goby. My goby has some white dot on it, so I thought white could be the reason for the death. On the third AM, I lost my royal gramma. I don't know why but I didn't stop dosing. The forthday(today), two hr after I dosing the coralamino, my clownfish died. It is the hardiest fish in my tank. I don't know, is coralamino the killer of these fish? I am very sad now. My green tip anemone also shrank. Now I working on a 50% water change, try to save my last clown fish. (It looks not good) Does anyone have any similar experiences?
All these fish have already with me for about a month.
The water statics:
Temp: 79.5f
No2: 0.1
No3: 7.5
Po4: 0.03
NH3: 0 ()
PH: 8.2
ALK: 11.5
CA: 410
I used to dose redsea ab+ (2ml/day) before I receive coralamino.
I also dose 5ml micaBacter7 daily to fight the dino.
I have UV sterilizer working 12 hr per day.
Fed the fish Mysis and brine shrimp.
All coral look good (zoa, leather, rock anemone, acan, birdnest..etc) Only the green tip anemone shrank.
Also, I raise the alk from 9.5 - 11.5 , Ca from 390 - 410 in two days.
No matter what I will stop using coralamino.
