I'd say yes. I have used the grey electrical flex conduit before. It's all pvc.I'd like to use this pipe for drains on a herbie bean. I used old hose from a wet dry on a smaller overflow and it worked great. this larger overflow has 1.5 drains. So Bob Fenner stated that in his experience it was ok. it was an old article so . Anyway This flex would be a lot easier then ridgid and a lot liter as well. the 1.5 gate valve and union alone weighs 2 lbs ! Oh I also e/med the manufacturer to see what they say, It looks like this.

That hose gets really brittle and fall apart after time. It's for pool cleaners, it's a weird size too.LOL You guys are quick ! I didn't have time to figure out what I did there !
True, hose clamps work...Your correct on the size thing. It is 1.5 inner diameter but I will have to use a kinda inner slip fitting and hose clamp for good seal. Also I was surprised the inside was fairly smooth none of the ridges like on the outside. This pipe will make the weight hanging from the box a lot less. The gate valve and union weigh 2 lbs!
