Is high magnesium and somewhat high calcium a problem?

I've been testing my water a bunch during the beginning month of my tank. My tank has been fully cycled (0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrite, low Nitrates) for about a week and a half now (possibly a few days longer), but I'm noticing that my Magnesium and Calcium are pretty high. Today, the tank parameters were what I listed below. Should I be concerned about the numbers, particularly magnesium and possibly calcium? I'm using Instant Ocean salt, for reference.

Nitrate 5
Phosphate .25
Alkalinity 10.5
Calcium 475
Magnesium 1500+ (off the charts on the salifert test... I even tested twice to check!)
Salinity 1.025

Not a problem no. Magnesium appears to be the most test error prone of all tests. I’m assuming you haven’t been dosing mag.

That's a relief. Definitely not dosing anything at this point, nope. Just letting things do what they do

What are the best test kits for nitrate and magnesium? Right now I'm using salifert for both

I've seen some brands of calcium supplements say that levels over 500ppm can start to damage equipment.
I like the Nyos test kits personally, the scale for the nitrates is the easiest one to read that I have come across.

I've also heard that high calcium can start to calcify your equipment faster so you might have to clean them more often. But that's the only ill effect I've heard of calcium being a little bit too high. As far as the magnesium I'm going to agree with stated above that the test was probably just read wrong but if you do have high magnesium it's okay your snails maybe a little bit lazy but other than that you shouldn't see any bad effects from the high magnesium.

Good point about the equipment calcifying. Maybe I need to consider looking at a different salt with lower calcium and magnesium.

I will check out the Nyos test kits and give em a try. The salutary test kits for nitrate and phosphate I find more difficult to read. Especially the nitrate one.
