My tank is doing great. No significant issues. I run a biopellet reacter, kalk stirrer, skimmer, etc. Lately, I've noticed that my ORP is at the high end. It's currently cycling between 430 and 455 with the day/night cycle. Is this anything I should be concerned about?

Generally, higher is better, but yours both doesn't seem super high and doesn't seem to be fluctuating much. It's also a measurement without absolute units, so while trends and ballpark values can be compared between tanks, a 440 for you, for example, isn't necessarily the same as another tank also reading 440. The value read is actually just the voltage off the sensor, which is partially dependent on the individual sensor's construction and condition.

If you aren’t dosing ozone, ignore the reading.

Most likely some organism is growing on the probe tip which is making the ORP appear higher.

If you put the probe in tip in bleach (rinse well after). You will likely see the ORP go back down.

In my experience, it goes back down after 2 days.

No ozone here.
I'll clean the probe and see if anything changes. Thanks!

Apex is sold with ORP probe, which is rather redundant and many do not recommend routine ORP measuring.
If you do, you look for a trend rather, than a single value. For example if ORP drops it might mean there’s decaying organic matter in your tank.

It really hasn't changed as far back as I can go (3 months) on my Apex. So for the last 3 months it's been steadily over 400. Wonder if it's because of the biopellets?
