+1 for bubble algae. Take the rock out and remove the bubble gently, doing that in the tank could risk rupturing and causing it to spread.

It’s gone. Whatever it was, it was hard as a rock. Didn’t wanna come off.

Very, Very much bubble algae!!!! Was it newly added to the tank? I would be sure to dip anything else you add to the tank. nothing gets added to my tank without being dipped. Even my fish goes through "Safety Stop' Every single time.

Dipping won't do anything for bubble algae. Keep an eye out for more showing up.
