I have 2 XR15 g5 on individual rms arms over a 48” 120 gallon planet rimless. I would like to add a 48” led strip or 2 to the front side to really make the corals pop. Is this possible with them being on individual mounts? I can not find anything on google where someone has done this type of set up. I do not want the xr15 specific reef brite supplements that have the small strips on either side of the light. I only want long single strips.

Where there is a will, there is a way.
Two rods will have to be the height. You should also mount them the same distance front to back.
Mounting could be as easy as mounting them on a strip of wood and then to the rods.
