Also... one little trick... don't bother powering your heater with a UPS if you have submerged pumps or powerheads. Your powerheads put in the same amount of heat as a heater of the same wattage. So... a submerged 65 watt pump puts in as much heat as a 65 watt heater.

Get a dc power head that is designed to run on a battery. I believe my koralias can and from what I’m told they will run for quite a while in battery
