Is it Coralline?

Seems to be white caps encrusting my dry rock . I also scratched my nail over it seems like a distinct new layer . Not sure what.

I have a tuxedo urchin but he doesn’t leave things looking like this after cleaning

Not coralline. Just looks like clean rock. Maybe algae slowly diminishing because of your good nutrient levels…?

Looks like lime or sediment from rock. Are you able to blow any loose with a turkey baster

Could those spots have had glue on them at one point? I've seen glue cause that. Or maybe alk precipitation. But I agree it's not coralline.
