Its not exactly bleaching like I've seen posted in other threads. Its almost see through with a white tint. Just picked it up yesterday but wanted to get other opinions. Tank is about a month old with live rock from another tank.

Nah. My leather does it all the time. New growth or dropped a frag.

That's not a leather, it's a pocillopora. Did it come from the store like that or was their tissue there before? Usually on sps white tips=alk burn. Is the base receding too, it is hard to tell in the picture?

I can't say I recall seeing it but the rest of it looks perfectly fine its just that tip that looks that way. Its not exactly white either its more translucent with a white hue to it. The picture doesn't show exactly how it looks. You can see through it from the side its just hard to get a picture of that because where its placed in the tank.

I'd just watch it and make sure it does not spread. The coral is brand new to the tank and seems happy otherwise judging by the polyp extension.

It was in a very low flow 10 gallon tank for a day and ive read they like high light and moderate to high flow so maybe the move will make it happier
