Is it flukes?

Hey guys, my lined dartfish has 2 or 3 discolored spots on his body, pretty small (~0.25 cm) ones, with small dark spots. He’s eating, acting relatively normal, and water’s more or less spotless. Any thoughts are appreciated!
Here’s a pic—between the orange stripe and the bottom white stripe in the middle:

Doesn’t look like it. If in question freshwater dip her for 5 min. Look for a very small translucent disk looking thing

Are they moving or stationary? Skin flukes will slowly roll over the fish.

I see, thanks guys. I don’t believe so, and it doesn’t seem to be a mound or bump, so I dunno...
Is black ick a thing? Or could this be just skin patterning? The thing is it really looks like a parasite to me. Thanks everyone!

Perhaps a freshwater dip in a dark bucket would be helpful. Some black ich may dislodge or if other flukes they’ll appear like sesame seeds at the bottom.

Thanks everyone. I got (saved, more like) this little guy from a petco when it had velvet. That was in February, and it’s still alive. This little guy defines a trooper, so I’m worried I won’t see any side effects like lethargic behavior until it’s too late.

On the positive side, I dipped him and nothing happened, though he did get a bit annoyed and tried to jump like 10 times. His discoloration is almost not visible, so I’m guessing that was stress. On the other hand, the black dots are still there, so a parasite is still a viable explanation, IMO. I guess it’s possible that it’s like a birth mark..? Anyway, he seems fine ATM. thanks again!
