Hello everyone. I recently purchased a golden Midas Blenny from LiveAquaria a week ago. Last couple days I have noticed he is biting at his tail, scratching on the rocks. And also swimming at the top of the water near the return lock line. So I googled symptoms and it could be flukes. I do not think there's any possible way I'm going to be able to catch him. I also have a tang and two clowns and a blenny in the tank. They show no symptoms that the blenny is having. What is everyone's opinion and how can I treat this in the display tank?

I beat flukes with prazi pro . I dosed that to my main display . I knew it was flukes because my tang was dead and I dipped it in freshwater.you can clearly see the flukes fall off . I then used prazi pro , unfortunately it killed all my wrasse :/

Pics and/or video would be helpful to see what spot(s) you are referring to and under white lighting. You are describing moreso ich or Lympho.

Ok so no head shaking and I did a fresh water RO dip for five minutes. Matched the PH and water temperature. I found what looked like a couple dead small worms. Now what?

Could be Paravortex turbellarian flatworms and not a worm that would kill them. Add some Prazipro which should effect on them as well as formailn based med which should also work

So he is pretty stressed from the RO dip. He is in the sand wrapped around a rock. I turned the lights off for the night. Just hope he makes it. Love these golden Midas Blennies
