I would do a water change to replace trace elements. Critters love fresh salt water.

When I pour water back in its all ready mix saltwater I buy at pet shop it comes In 5 gallon buckets and I don't use tap water.

I do this months at a time as well. Water changes in reality are mostly to remove nitrates. If you have a FOWLR tank, you could go quite a while with no changes. However, if you have corals or inverts they do require used up nutrients to be replaced on a regular basis. Once a month changes would be ok even then. Best to check levels of all important parameters expecially minerals to be sure.

I am confused - are you saying you are replacing evaporation, which is fresh water, with salt water? If so your salinity is slowly creeping up to danger levels.

Okay so should I use distilled water Instead of ready mix saltwater. I was replacing evaporation with ready mix

Yes! Salt does not evaporate, only pure water. What is your salt level?

Distilled water should be fine but if you have a large tank you might want to invest in an RO/DI system.

All my tanks size:
20 gallon
30 gallon long
40 gallon breeder
55 gallon

When I get home will check all my tanks to see what salt level

Yes you need to to water changes at least once a month or more. Top off water needs to be rodi water with no salt. If you are using premixed water for topoffs your salinity will rise above normal range.

I would check your salt level, when saltwater evaporates, the salinity increases, you want to add RO/DI water to level it back out. When adding saltwater to replenish your major and minor trace elements, you want to pull that much out and replace it with the new saltwater. Example you buy 5 gal pre mixed you go home, remove 5 gallons from the tank, fill the tank back up with the saltwater you purchased. Never top off with saltwater as the salt doesn't evaporate. Hope that helped!
