Is it just in the name???

Hello,
I am looking for a good led fixture for a 50 gallon cube, and I relay want to try the guys at Reef led lights but it seems every time I don't guy with the big name guys I get burned. I just want to know if I am paying for the name or should I give these guys a ring?

The big name guys seem to have better programmability and customization. Many of the cheap options work fine like the Mars Aqua LEDs on eBay

I guess since I have not seen the Reef LED Lights in person it is hard to make the plunge. I have seen Radionuclides and Kessills in use.
