Is it just shock? or something worst?

Cross-post from my Build for more exposure. Grabbed a wrasse thinking it was just in shock but now a week has passed and still no resolve. Please help if possible, even if it is bad news. I have been using KanaPlex but having issues visually seeing the fish feed.

Difficult to see details in the video, but looks to be positively buoyant? How long did you have the fish before it started showing this? Do you notice any abdominal distention?

It started within hours of getting it home. I didn't notice anything wrong with the fish at the store. This is a new fish, not one that became ill. I don't see anything odd about the abdominal. It was definitely positive buoyant as you put it in the beginning. The fish could barely keep itself submerged the first day or two. The fish is now at day 8 under my care.

I’ve had fish become positive buoyant after being shipped by air. This can also happen when fish are needled to decompress them when captured in deep water. Neither applies in this case. If the Kanaplex isn’t helping, you could do a water change and start erythromycin (Maracyn 1). Trouble is, this has been going on a long time, so a cure becomes more difficult.

I’m wondering if it’s an oxygen issue? Do you have a bubbler you can add??
