Is it me? Frag problems

Ok so I took advantage of a few sales over the holidays and I am regretting all these Frag purchases. I have pukani rock and I figured just put the plugs in a hole and id be done. Instead everycrab and snail seems to push them out and I spend 20 minutes a day picking them up and re inserting. I could glue them but I haven't had any luck with that either . putty and glue aren't working for me. I feel like im never getting frags again. Ok I've vented .

Loctite Gel and two little fishes or instant works like a charm

I guess im stuck getting a Frag rack. That kills the look im going for.

I might trig and pop them off the frag and find a place for them. I don't like the frag plugs look in my tank too much

Frag plugs are great. Once your corals grow over/encrust onto your rock work, just cut away and you can trade for something else.

What glue are you using? They should stay in place. I usually cut the stems off.

I have a skimz CR16 Frag rack, NIW for $30 shipped. The frag plugs are clear!

Everytime i frag something and glue it to a plug my hermits i feel purposely rip the frags out of the glue, now i just smashed a huge piece of real reef rock and glue the frags to chunky rocks and place it on my rockwork

I use the putty and the frag glue. Works great. But never have success with just either.

Mix the putty. Spot of superglue gel on frag. Putty on glue on frag. Glue on putty. Push on Rock.
Like a sandwich

Frag. Glue. Putty. Glue rock.

Dollar store super glue gel. It does take practice.

I know the feeling it's my fish that push my frags out of the cracks and holes in my live rock. I cut the plug off the frag and then glue it to rock rubble looks better that a one inch plug sticking up.

I just got rid of my frag rack in my 40g. Thank goodness. I hate the look of them too! Although, I have not done my glue downs yet or putty. I do get it to work, but you really have to practice and keep everything away while it cures. Urchins, crabs and snails are a pita on glueing frags. We all feel you. Just a fun part of the hobby.
