Is it my PH probe or something else?

I posted a similar thing last week. We had 1 day of nice weather so I opened all windows and by the next day I went from a low of 7.55 to a low of 7.8. I'm pretty convinced it's CO2. It got hot again, with windows closed I can see Ph drifting down again. I also use CO2 media, takes at least a week or more to get used but still struggles with hot weather and closed house. I agree if your co2 media is getting used in 1 day it's probably a co2 issue and not a bad probe. I also just added a line into my co2 media from outside today. I'll see how that goes.

So nothing to freak out about too much just yet? I'm just flirting between bad and ok.
I would look into it if I were you. Normal is 400ppm so you could be as high as 1600. I doubt you are that high but I would test it.

I have been running CO2 media and a line outside for about 3 weeks. My ph runs 7.8 to 8.02. is there anything I can do to bump it up a little more.

What kind of drains do you use in your system? Are they pulling in a lot of air?

That is about where my tank is running. I'm happy with those numbers as I was running 7.55 for lows. I am also running Kalk water in my ATO. I can't think of anything else to do except wait for better weather.

I believe it is called the Durso. It is a 120gl and it looks like it has quit a bit of air in the sump area.

According to that chart I should be good.

Side note, I checked my ph a few min ago at 10pm and it's back down to 7.5 with the skimmer line running outside. I think I'm just going to give up, corals are happy and I should just leave it at that.

This is why you will only get limited results from your CO2 filter on your skimmer. Your drains are pulling in a ton of air from in the house that the air from the skimmer has to compete.

I run Durso's myself so see a similar issue. My understanding is that people who run a full siphon drain see much better results from running skimmer lines outside or through a filter.

Nice chart. This says that all the urban legend about c02 affecting ph in your tank may be misleading. My ph hovers around 7.9 to 8.0 . I'm not gonna freak and buy more snake oil. Thanks!
