Is it normal for a zoanthid to lie this flat?

These are some new zoas in my Nanoreef. Most of my other ones are more cup-shaped. These seem happy enough and new polyps are forming, but I just wondered if this was normal.

Looks ok to me. Usually if they are growing they are happy

Looks like one of mine...lays out almost flat. As long as it's growing I'd say it's normal.

Thats not the type of zoa to grow flat and little. just an FYI if your zoas are looking like outdoor mushrooms with there skirts back it might be because of too much light you have them in and should put them down a little i have a colony of those and they are not flat nice big polyps and decent sized stems.

Thanks for the input. It's strange. I have other zoas with the same lighting that aren't flat. These have been in my tank for about two weeks. At the LFS store, they were under led's. I have compact flourescents, 75% actinic blue and 25% white. I'll keep an eye on them and let everyone know how they're doing. Thanks again!!
