I was dosing reef fusion 2, put it in the tank and this happened, is this normal?! Also is this going to be a problem? Don’t know if this will help, but cal is at 450.

Not sure what the picture is showing, but high pH two parts should be added to a high flow area to disperse and redissolve the magnesium hydroxide that forms.

What is that Precipitate in My Reef Aquarium? by Randy Holmes-Farley - Reefkeeping.com

Figure 3. The transient cloud of magnesium hydroxide that forms when high pH additives are added. In this case, the alkalinity portion of B-ionic was added to a fairly still portion of one of my reef aquaria.

The white chunks were what happened when I put the reef fusion 2 in the tank, I did put it in a high flow area as well, I was just worried that it was bad if it did that

In the future, maybe add it more slowly and you might dilute it first in ro/di if it keeps happening.
