What happens if Ca solidifies from humidity? Is it OK to dissolve and use? Will it just be less efficient or will it cause some issues?
Thanks

Yes, it will be fine. It may be a little less potent by weight if it has accumulated more moisture, but it won't chemically change.

I have an open bag of Dowflake in the basement from more than 10 years ago, and it is hard as a rock, but it is still usable. :)
