Is it okay to have my pumps and flow off for 12 hours so that my new rock anemones can get there foot in?

Can you atleast leave your return pump on?
I have it off at the moment but yeah I can probably turn them back on in an hour because during the acclimation proses both anemones set there foots in the plastic bowl I had them in so I think they will set pretty quick

when you turn your flow off your nems will get comfortable, but once your turn the flow back on, they may move again so they can find a spot that is comfortable with the new flow. It makes more sense to turn them off for maybe an hour or two and then turn them back on when the foot is attached.

Can’t you just redirect your flow so that it’s not hitting the bottom? Rock nems prefer to hide in sand. Not sure about staying in a bowl... I personally don’t like to leave my return off for more than 15-20 mins. Corals are ok but fish don’t look happy.

Yeah, like somebody else said - they're likely to move again after you revert the flow back to normal. However, if you do decide to turn off pumps, please at least point one or two to the surface for oxygenation.

Nems will move when they dont like flow. I wouldn't really worry about them I would keep an eye on them make sure they dont get near any pumps and return to business as usual.

Nems like to find there spot and make it there spot.

Yes as long as temperature is stable. I would prefer to run at least an airpump with an airstone for some circulation and oxygen exchange
