Hey guys, I have been reading on here and get mixed messages so thought I would ask before I add anything to tank. I currently have my 20g wbox running a bit over a month now with nothing but CUC in it, which are loving all that algae on the glass that has built up. Im getting ready to add fish, a pair of clowns, and wanted to know what everyone thought about adding a nem to this tank. I have read all kinds on here and some say yes some no. I was thinking a BTA as seen most common, but would like one that had longer tentacles if possible. Should I go with BTA or are there other species a 20g could handle? It would be only the clowns and maybe a goby down the line. Was thinking get the nem, let it settle and find its spot, then the clowns and try the tube method of introducing them to tank. Thanks for any advice!

You could definitely do a bubble tip in that tank. Others could get too large for that tank though, that's all I'd be wary of.

Yes you can easily add a bubble tip to a 20 gallon. There are some bubble tips that have long tentacles for some reason, and you could try to find one of those.

I had poor outcomes when my tank was that new. I'd recommend testing your parameters for a few weeks. If everything is stable and within limits, then give it a try. Also just FYI I've had clowns and 2 nems for over a year now and my clowns host a powerhead. I've even played them YouTube videos of clowns hosting nems.

No problem for a BTA.
But I would wait to my water chemistry was rock solid.
Say, 6-9 months, they hate unstable waters.
It would have no effect on your clowns or hosting prospects.
