Is it possible to conduct Automatic Water Changes using the GHL Doser 2.1?

Just as the title of the thread states. Is it possible to conduct Automatic Water Changes using the GHL Doser 2.1? I have a few pumps available on one of my GHL Doser 2.1 units and rather then purchase a new Maxi Doser I was wondering if anyone has tried this before.

Yes, but it will take longer because the heads don't flow as much as a Maxi and also I don't believe they're rated for continuous duty. So you'd have to change something like a liter at a time several times a day. But one of the main upgrades between the 2.0 and 2.1 was different heads which will allow this.

Okay, that makes sense. Wondering if it's worth burning out the heads sooner rather than just purchasing the Maxi.

If your tank is any bigger that a nano, then no it’s not worth it

Yea, for AWC, get the maxi. The little heads of the 2 and 2.1 just aren't made to move that much fluid on a regular basis.
