Is it safe to DIP a SEA HARE?

Hello!
I am currently drip acclimating a sea hare to clean up the algae in my 90 gallon. My parameters are pretty near perfect and have been stable. The tank is roughly 10 months old. I am just wondering if it is safe to iodine dip a sea hare? I know you shouldn't methalyn blue dip invertebrates but I feel as though I was told an iodine dip is safe. I started this tank from scratch with everything brand new because all my old saltwater set ups had some kind of pest issue. I just like to be very cautious with what goes in the tank and I always dip with whatever is safe for the species.

I don’t know. They’re very sensitive, so I would guess not. Hopefully someone more knowledge on the subject will chime in.

I did acclimate for around 2 hours and ended up not dipping.

Next question, hermit crab looked like it was tasting the sea hare? It left him alone right after though? I assume the crab was grabbing algae or something off the sea hare?? My hermits are tiny and sea hare is like 4.5 inches. Should I be worried?

Under closer examination it looks like the crab is following behind eating the sand he’s excreting. Should I be worried ?

Should be ok. Place hermits elsewhere and see if they return to the hare. If they’re a nuisance, you can place hermits in a cup with holes in lid and give them a time out
