Is it sponge?

I noticed this little fella sprouting up from my irritated zoas today. I'm reasonably sure it's a sponge. Am I correct? And is it going to take over the zoas?

Pineapple sponge, i'd get rid of it.
They like very low flow in my experience, maybe something you should look at.

Thanks! Maybe I should adjust the positioning of my gyre, then. I get salt creep along the rim above it due to the strong water movement up top, but perhaps if I angle the rotor cages a bit more downwards, I could improve the flow along the bottom. Thanks for the suggestion.
