Is my anemone dying?

I just got this anemone yesterday, he was all puffed up and looking good yesterday, moved around during the night, and now looks like this, with stringy things coming off it. Help.

It's not super happy. Tank looks just weeks old. Can you list your parameters?

Nems can be difficult to keep in new tanks for inexperienced reefers and it's not typically recommended. That's not to say it cannot be done, you just have to keep things really stable and stay on top of maintenance etc...

Everything is 0 just did A RO Di water change 20% yesterday tank as about a month and a 1/2 old

Do you have any fish ?

Everything is zero does not help, sorry. Need specific numbers as well as what your lighting is to really evaluate any problem. Otherwise, we will just call it new tank syndrome and have limited solutions.

As of now, it doesn't appear to be dying. They typically retract their tentacles when they are looking for a happy spot in a new tank.

20 fish and a bta in a 6 week old tank is not advised.

10 chromis , 4 tangs, gold spotted rabbit, anthias , leopard wrasse, blue surgeon, few clowns

The quicker you share the requested info, the quicker we can come up with an action plan. But I will say I'm just not seeing even a 6 week old tank in those pics, especially one with 20 fish including tangs. It looks almost spotless.

Still using that amazon led? Not familiar with it but it seems sufficient, I guess. What's your salinity? I'll assume ammonia is zero, but I'm not confident given what I'm seeing along with the knowledge you have 20 fish crammed in there.

Yes, if you can rehome the nem until your tank matures I would highly recommend it.

I tested all my parameters this morning everything is 0.

Salinity 1.024

Thank you for the FTS. Doesnt look terribly overcrowded from the pic, but it soon will be. Super clean tank. How many of those led units are you using?
