Is my anemone OK? About an hour ago it looked normal but was shooting sperm or eggs out I assume ( was like a milky smokey substance). Now his mouth is gaping and protruding out .

How big is he? He looks stressed. This usually happen after a spawn. Your Haddoni seem to be small to spawn.
I would make sure your water condition is optimal and he will be fine.

How long has the nem been in the tank and what are your params? Listing the basics are fine for parameters.

Also, if this is an established nem, have you been feeding it, made any changes in the tank?

He looks like he is recovering fine. Spawn often stress them out, or stress cause the spawn.

Just wanted to update everyone that my carpet anemone is still alive and healthy and much bigger in size. Keep in mind my tank was only 2 months old when I added the carpet anemone, 8 months later and doing good :)

You added the anemone when your tank was 2 months old? How big is the tank ?

Good luck, please note I was meticulous at taking care of it at first. Now i just do a monthly water change. I never fed it and i only have two fishes.
Thank you, I have only had mine a week today but so far so good. I test daily for the basics currently and do a small water change weekly, mostly just to vacuum the sand a bit lol

The biggest key for a haddoni or gig is stability. Bubbles are a little more forgiving, but still appreciate it.

Very nice anemone, looks like it found a perfect spot!
