is my anemone pooping???

I picked this carpet up on Tuesday. I absolutely love it. My favorite thing in my tank. Anyway, I don't know if he is pooping or sick. I hate to keep asking so many questions," but asking is learning ."

Asking so many questions... lol that's why we are here. the part to the left could be "poop" but the part to the right looks like some insides. I would monitor it and see if it gets worse. But my guess is it is just fine. Have you fed it recently?

Nope. Picked it up Tuesday and I forgot to ask the lady when she fed him last. He looked great then and just started doing this. So I thought he might be pooping. I am also trying to figure out setting for my lights. She had t5s and I have ocean revive t247s. I don't know if nems need more full spectrum or a lot of blues. I really appreciate people like you who take the time to help us new guys.

I can't say I'm an anemone expert. But I've seen them spit stuff up a lot. And usually no ill affect. The nem is open so I'm not too worried. Strange it hasn't been fed but is regurgitating. Could be its just acclimating to your system. I would watch it and if it gets any worse let us know. Its cool looking full size or mini?

Lol no good! How did It get ahold of them. I used to have a large electric green carpet. It only ate sick fish with the exception of a jawfish. I added him right above the nem without thinking and it swam straight down into it. That was my fault. :-(

She never said exactly what the where. She want fish more than the nem. I like coral and nems better than the fish.

It's the one that gets big. I hope it's alright. I been looking for one of these for a while now. I read they don't ship good so when I found one 30 miles away I snatched it up

I had a haddoni for years, and it would do that often. Look for color/ polyp extension/ moving around for signs of irritation

Are the white "folds" coming out of the mouth it's guts? Is it bad that the white part is out? I've read about there guts coming out, but didn't know if that's what the guts look like

its part of the mouth. if it gets worse than that then i might start to worry, but (water) consistency is the best thing for it
