Is my anemone splitting? (Picture included)

I recently added this guy and he looked miserable for a few days. He’s recently reemerged from the rock structure in this oval shape and is growing a new foot on his side. The mouth looks round as best as I can see.

Normally, they deflated as they split so I don’t think so.
