Hi just got this bubble tip anenome and when my hermit went near it, it shrunk and is seemed somewhat transparent

It's fine. Just make sure the mouth isn't wide open and the tentacles aren't "deflated" for more than a day or two.

What should OP (and any of us) do if that happens?
Keep in mind though, anemones will regularly open their mouths and shrivel up to expel waste and excess zooxanthellae. This process shouldn't take more than a few days though. I would treat an anemone if it looked "sick" for a about a week straight.

That's basically where I'm at. I started in tank cipro after an RFA began gapong and moving around erratically for about a week. Fingers crossed. I have a new BTA arriving on Tues, so I might just extend the dosing another couple days in case it comes in sick.

That's a good plan

And just to reiterate to OP, you don't need to do any of that stuff right now and that anemone looks happy and healthy tucked into a crevice as bubble tips love to do.
