Is my new Aqueon 40B going to fail me or am I paranoid? It has been filled almost four weeks now and I just noticed that there are some bubbles in the seams and the side panels don't sit flush on one side. They go from flush on top to about 1/8 in on side. The bad part is in all the hype of things I have no idea what it looked like to begin with.

Looking forward to your wisdom!

Mines the same and has been filled and abused with a scraper for a good 4 years.
It bows pretty heavily due to the thinner glass as well.
Quality isnt the best but they hold water just fine :)

Just checked it again with a level and it is perfect back to front but a little off side to side. Going to work on that tonight somehow with the wife and ease my mind a little. It's so easy in this hobby to miss even the smallest things. Glad to know that it at least is somewhat common.

If you don't mind what are you using for a stand? And what should I look out for as far ensuring the tank doesn't fail in my part? I'm using the petco provided metal stand, but ya know, paranoid life XD

I'm on the second floor of a apartment building, gotta make sure i'm doing the right thing!

Anything that fully supports the bottom of the tank is going to be your best bet.
Im using a seapora emperess stand but theres plenty of better ones out there.

My new build i went with full wood.
