Is my BTA ok?

I purchased it last week sometime. I don't recall if it was always white like this.

Looks like it is bleached/bleaching. You might want to move those corals away from it if they are right next to it.

Not sure of the ones it came from. I have Radion in a 24x24x20 cube. It's been moving around the last week but seems to like that area the best.

be patient and keep feeding it. I'm also in the process of nursing one of my RBTA's. I don't have an experience on how long it takes to nurse it back from bleaching. I say that if it's taking food and inflating daily and keeping its spot, there's a very good chance of it recuperating. good luck.

I can attest there very hardy my 10 gallon crashed and the bta is the only thing that lived out of the coral.
It took a week or 2 for it to fully recover then i split it!

Both halves are doing awesome! And i plan on splitting both halves next week again!

If it just came a week ago then it may just be stress and adjusting to your water and light.. So it maybe be bleaching.. But if its eating puffy then it should be sexy again and back to normal in a few months. Goodluck with it k...

i had one CRYSTAL clear, took 6 months of feeding every other day... best of luck this one will do fine with some love

So the bta is doing well. Tips are bright pink & body is white. It inflates nicely. I had another rainbow BTA coming in the mail as I made this post. That one is doing well also.. now the catch. I woke up this morning and the pink BTA is in the Rainbow BTA's space(rainbow bta is much larger).. I wonder how this is going to pan out.

Question about my other BTA. I saw it was out and about this morning.. I come home from work and it's seemed to has shrunk to a very very small size... and has a trail of something small coming out of it. Pooping?

Yes, it is pooping. Kinda gross, isn't it? They will contract themselves real tight to expel the waste. A lot of people think their nem is dying when they see it happen for the first time.
