I have had this bubbletip now about 4 weeks. When I got it from the lfs the shop said hes starting to split. The thing is it's just been the same really for 3-4 weeks. Its split from one side to its mouth. Opens up fine and always eats the reef roids food. Might of slightly split a little more since had it. See picture. Any info will be welcome. Thank you

Are you sure thats a bubble? It looks like it might be a condy, but I'm not very familiar with condys. All I can tell is that it doesn't look very much like a bta, and the color is way off

It looks like it’s stressed and maybe damaged. Is anything picking at it?
I’ve had a BTA anemone split and here’s what it looked like. It kept getting wider and wider and then there were two:

I think the person at the shop damaged it taking it off of the rock when getting me it and said its splitting. What will happen to it then now? Thank you

Yes, it doesn't take 3-4 weeks for them to split. Like a few hours. I started with one and now a few months later have 8!! California Rainbows.

All you can do is try to keep things stable and hope it recovers IMO. It might make it, it might not. I ripped my anemones foot when moving it to a different tank and it recovered just fine so there’s hope! I’d keep an eye on it and pull it out if it looks like it’s dying. Good luck!
