Is my calcium high

My calcium is reading 500ppm, should I be worry about this or this should be ok? Should I tried to lower it a little bit?

Not in my book.. but it is about tops... I consider calc to be in the range of 380 to 500 to be ok .... I shoot for 430 to 500.

I hope your alk is about 11. I like to keep the alk (KH) at 9 to 11 but consider 7-11 ok.

It is high, but not to worry. Just don't let in get much higher, or any higher. I try to keep mine at 450.

my alkanity is around 8. is it better for growth and coraline algae if calcium os high or don't matter as long as it's stable?

I like to keep mine at about 480 my corals eat it up pretty quick with in a week of so it's under 400.

Had the same problem and my sand started bonding together so i wuold bring it down a bit. Should be around 450 or close to that.
