Is my candy cane splitting?

Hello I've recently purchased a candy cane frag and saw that one of the heads was starting to look different and was wondering if it was splitting. Thanks!

Thats most likely what it is. I have some trumpet coral frags that have split A LOT in the last 5 months
I'm sure that you will love your candy canes

Pretty much any LPS will start to take that shape as the skeleton starts to grow into two separate polyps. Pretty soon it will look like a figure 8.
