Is my candycane dead?

I woke to find my mushrooms mad and my GSP. I have been keeping a close eye on my tank and nothing else seemed mad, but then I saw my candycane kinda deflated. I know it's a bad picture, but is it still alive?

his skin is tight around it's skeleton and the center looks like it's open, kina like a hole. He was skinny when I got him, but he was lookin great.

Not dead, just looks like it needs more light.

agree. change light and flow.
is that a red shroom? mine like to be hit in the face.
My candycane likes to be gently rocked

Okay, so put it higher in the tank and closer to flow?

I'm not sure it's light and flow, something in the tank made things mad. (Long story short I think I regenerated my purigen with some bad PRIME).

But I moved it higher and closer to my wavemaker.

I hope he's okay.

yea higher for light, but pick a spot for flow. I use flake food or dust the rock with a turkey baster and look for the right spot for any given coral.
My candy cane likes less direct back and forth flow.
not always faster flow or stronger.
3 kinds of flow
Laminar (strait line)
turbulent (back and forth up down randomly)
Surge, (like ocean waves) Big push. slow, big push again

My shroom seem to like more med laminar in the face.
My candy cane Im looking at is med to med low turbulent (like gently waving good by with your hand)
