Is my clam healthy?

Hi guys, I’ve just got my first clam today and want to ask a question. I saw my clam not all covered it’s shell like what I circled with red highlight, is that normal? It respond quickly if I’m moving it or some fish touches it.

See if it reacts to shadow from covering it up. If it does then it’s a good sign

Yeah it’s reacting quickly if I covered the light

I’ve got some more pics today the clam is doing better than yesterday I think, it’s opening more and almost covered the shell
