Is my clam ok? Mouth is slightly open

My maxima clam has been in my tank for about 5 days. I did feed it twice with phytoplankton that I cultured mixed with spirulina powder. It is about 2 inches and is reactive to movement and light. Am I just being a worry wart

That's him filter feeding. Entirely normal. Will get even larger as he gets bigger.

Do not over stimulate him too much with food. Make sure to broadcast food, not shoot directly at it. Also, make sure to leave it be. Do not move it around or knock it around. Baby Maximas can be trickly.
