Is my cleaner shrimp pregnant?

Hello reefers,

Recently I got a 2nd cleaner shrimp since my 1st one had no mood to clean and wouldn't come out from under the live rock for weeks. The very next day after adding the 2nd shrimp, both my shrimps are out and about competing for who will clean the fish.

That's when I noticed one of the shrimp looks very different from the other, is it pregnant? And if yes, is there anything I can even do to ensure the little ones have a chance to survive.

Tanks is 75G with 20L sump, about a year old with lots of pods.

I have attached 2 pics to show how one of them look so different from the other.

Yes ,it looks like your shrimp is expecting but it is very difficult to breed skunk cleaner shrimp with a proper setup for breeding. The larva stage takes to long to develop and more likely end up coral food in your aquarium.

Thanks for the response. As long as someone in the tank benefits besides the filter sock, I guess I would be alright.

Yes sorry for bed news Some animals are difficult to breed in home aquarium.

Look into how long they carry eggs before birth. I hope you at least get to see the hundreds of larve before they die. When my sexy shrimp larve hatched it was the most incredible sight I’ve seen in my tank thus far!
