Is my cleanser shirmp dying?

I have an fully grown adult size cleanser shrimp for little over a year and today I found that its not eating or active as it was used to be.
Its whisker is also covered with detrius and i havent seen that before. Is he trying to molt or it already lived its life span expectancy? Please let me know your thoughts! Thank you.

I tried to feed him but hes not taking it. Its weird to see rejecting food.

Mine often are not interested in food prior to molting. Also, I do believe their lifespan averages are in the three year neighborhood.

Pretty much what makes mine a model citizen. He’s not interested in food therefore he doesn’t steal from corals.

My shrimp will steal from anything, so I generally give/feed them a piece of shrimp or similar first (keeps them busy), before trying to feed nems, and corals.

Seems to be the norm with them. Only one he doesn’t steal from is my Bali carpet minis….they’re to sticky for his liking.

My Banded Coral Shrimp doesn’t eat before it molts as well. I also have to feed it before feeding the Bowerbanki and hammers or off to the races trying to steal food.
