I would get the 6” one and throw in a few pieces of PVC pipe or joints to give hiding spots.

1” is good. Elbows, wyes, even just short 2-3” sections are fine.

Ok thank you for the help and advice I'm hoping like everything thing else in my life if I buy the thing I might need I won't need it if I have it on hand instead of needing it and not having it on hand if that makes sense
