Is my clownfish dying

He’s been swimming on the sand bed and in the corner of the tank very slowly last few minutes

no they are pretty weird. if he was up top heavy breathing then id be worries about low oxygen.

pater parameters just to make sure? how old is the tank? did it cycle? how long have you had it?

He is usually swimming quickly aroun the tank back and forth through the current
Also Today I switched to a new light

I would not worrie about it but if you are determined to make sure we need a reading of your tank parameters. how long have you had the fish how old is the tank

how old is the tank? tank parameters? mine swims in his sleep. if the tank is real new and did not cycle right could be ammonia poisonings. is salinity correct? water temp correct? how strong is the flow?

I have a hectors goby that’s acting completely normal
never mind I can see you don't have time to respond to the questions I am asking you so I don't have time or the information needed to help you good luck.

Sorry it’s been a really long day and I’m really tired hopefully he’s fine in the morning and I’ll do a water change
I can’t test for ammo is as the only kit I have is an api saltwater kit which always gives me .20-.25 no matter what

Okay. I would also suggest getting bottle bacteria if you want your fish to survive and test water once a week. yes test water as soon as you can. but remember to heat and make sure the water is mixed correctly to 1.025. the clown could pull through if you take these steps. api test are real bad about false readings it could be even higher. ammonia should be zero at all times that is how you know the tank is animal safe and cycled. once its cycled it should stay that way.

I have a couple clowns that had similar behavior for like 6 months before they started to really settle in the tank. I wouldn’t worry if water parameters are good!
