definitely pipe organ , try not to put water from the lfs in your tank . when I first started this hobby I would do the same . I had uncontrollable nitrate problem. tested water from the bag from the lfs and the nitrates were so high they were off the charts. acclimate and discard that water .

Pipe Organs can be touchy, I had one that didn't open for 4-5 days. The do like light.

The one I have now is a leather coral I don't know if it's dying or not

Leathers are a great beginner coral. Relax that response is normal. Those pretty feelers that you saw in the store will be out again soon. You can also expect to see a waxy film that will cover the surface which will shed off like a sunburn peel . Again normal response. Not to worry. How long has this tank been up and running?from your post it seems you only put water in it on March 13 . Your tank hasn't even started the nitrogen cycle yet. You keep putting fish and corals in it will just be wasting money not to mention not fair for the livestock. My last suggestion for you is to leave your tank alone till the end of April. Only top of daily evaporation with fresh water and resist the temptation to add anything. The biggest rookie mistake is trying to create the great barrier reef in a day.look up videos on cycling a reef tank . It takes about 30 days before you can add any livestock. You are setting yourself up to be frustrated and quit the hobby before you have time to enjoy it.

That's great. The best part of this hobby today is the vast knowledge someone starting out has access to. Between forums and a simple Google search you can gain an advantage then when most of us started out. Back in 97 when I started it was mostly trial and error, mostly error in my case. You may find different ways work for different systems but one thing every system has in common is adding too much to quickly. Patients is the first lesson we all have to learn and all of us have to remind ourselves when we wonder in that frag store, leading to the dreaded impulse buy.

I think the leather will be fine if u give it some time to get back in shape. Just like the guys said above definitely don't mix the fish store water simply because it's dangerous and you don't know what you are putting in there. One of the hardest things in this hobby is being patient so stick with it !
