So I'm not sure what's really going on with my damsel but it has been over this spot on my rock and he just kinda keeps seizing on it? I'm really not sure and have never seen this happen before

Is the fish eating? Damsels are territorial. Mine hangs out under my Toadstool, and defends his territory relentlessly, I can not even place a new corals in his territory.

he eats fine and even swims around with my clownfish but today he started acting weird in the spot on the rock

If the Damsel is eating, and not flashing or show sign and symptoms of disease such as spots, cloudy eyes then I would assume the damsel has just staked out a territory.
