I have 1 duncan head myself, and when it retracts you can still see some of the little polyps sticking out. But one time I thought mine was dying and someone told me that as long as the skeletal color(so the green on it) is still bright, its fine, something mightve just touched it or your water conditions need some tuning. Happy reefing
my perameters are nitrates 3 ph 8.1 dkh 8-9 and salinity is 1.024 and i dont have test kit for anything elseDoesn't appear to be dying, but if other corals are closed maybe look into what might have changed? Whats your parameters at? Smaller lump is probably a start of a new head
