I came home from work a couple of days ago and saw the elegance was mostly retracted, but since I've had it for roughly a week, I figured it was still getting accustomed to the tank. It remained like that until today. It looked the same after a small water change (10%), then it was like I blinked and the polyps were ballooned up and swollen. An hour later, the polyps were deflated, retracted and it was excreting white mucous and stringy brown.. Stuff?
My tank parameters appear to be in order;
Ammonia: 0 NO³: 20 No²: 0 pH: 8.4 KH: 180 Mg: 1480 Ca: 450 Phosphates: 0.02 Salinity: 0.025
I typically run an actinic bulb alongside a full spectrum LED, but I've only been running my actinic since I've noticed its displeasure.
My next question is, can these excretions hurt my other coral? I have a red finger gorgonian that seems to be doing okay, though it's not fully open, and a tiny flowerpot goniopora frag that opens up every once and a while.
