Is my feather duster dead!

I put a mini carpet anemone in the tank but forgot to shut off my wave maker and he got caught in it flipping around then grabbed a hold of my feather duster next day all his feathers fell off and he looks like this . Is he dead

Might be but they can shed their crown if stressed and live. As long as it dieing won't crash the tank I'd give it the chance to pull through.

He is alive I watched him all night when a short head of feathers popped out

Thank You he is alive I found out last night and I was gonna flush him glad I didn’t !
