Hey everyone,
It just crossed my mind that I might have too much fish in my 29DT, there haven’t been any problems for me to be concerned about but might as well deal with it now until it’s too late. I currently have an Ocelaris that is ~1 ¼”, 2 Chromis that are a bit bigger, a Fire tail that’s pretty small but 1 ½” long, Yellow Watchman Goby that is 2 ½”, ORA Sunset Dottyback that’s ~2”, and a Mandarin Dragonet that’s 2”. I was thinking about trading in the dottyback (due to its aggressive nature) for a fire dart fish, but still unsure (mostly because it’s still timid to swim around and it will be very difficult to catch).

I don't think thats too much. I wouldn't really add anymore, but those are all smaller fish. Unless you are having severe increased nutrient problems, which then just add more export lol.

Considering fish grow. At some point it might be. Aggression could become an issue as well. Depends also on how well you maintain it, and water changes. I personally wouldn't have all those fish in less than 55 gallons.

I think it's a bit high, but thats someone who has 2 clowns, mccoskers wrasse, and 3 gobys in 32 and plans on alot of coral

I’ve haven’t had any problems for a bit especially in the nutrient zone, I think one corporate that helps a lot with keeping the levels low is my huge skimmer (SCA-302).

personally I have 5 fish in a 32 and I think I'm maxed out, but if the fish are happy and you're happy then reef on
